What determines the right system

Spray-applied removable finishes for compatible vehicle surfaces

Original finish condition

Factory paint, repair paint and aged finishes may respond differently. Check adhesion and removal on the actual paint, including any polish or surface treatment.

Appearance and use

Colour, gloss, texture, cleaning and road exposure are separate requirements. Define them without assuming the behaviour of a preformed protection film.

Spraying and release

Complex edges and trim require an appropriate masking and application sequence. Trial the finish and removal after a representative service period.

USE & EXPOSURE

Application requirements

Include the entire protection cycle: application, drying, process exposure and removal. Assess the actual surface after removal, including residue and appearance.

Questions before selection

Is this the same as PPF?

No. A spray-applied peelable coating forms a film on the surface; PPF is a preformed film installed onto it. Compare their properties and installation methods separately.

Can it be applied over repaired paint?

Compatibility depends on the repaired finish and cure condition. A representative adhesion and removal trial is needed before broader application.
